Ko'olina Beach Club
Nestled on the golden west coast of Oahu is one of Hawaii's hidden gems. It is one of my favorite places to stay-cation - The Ko'olina Beach Club! It's an amazing resort that is built around families and quality time. There are studios, 1 BR, 2 BR units; which full kitchen, living room, built in sauna tubs and bathrooms. The grounds has some amazing eateries, jacuzzi coves, swimming pools, lagoons, fitness centers, waterfall slides, lazy river and activities.
If you're ever on Maui, you have to visit the Kula Lavender Farm upcountry. It's breathtaking!!! To experience the mist rolling down the hillside in the fields of lavender is a sight to see. To take in the gardens and see the different plants, trees and flowers make this destination a must. They also have a visitor center which has EVERYTHING Lavendar - goodies, lemonade, oils, sprays, lotions and apparel.
ULUPALAKUA Vineyards is my favorite place to wine taste on the Valley Isle. Not only is the place a cool property to explore but they have the best selection of wine to taste, buy and even ship back home! My favorite was the pineapple wine. Cheering!!!
My tutukane (grandfather) from my dad's side hailed from a small village on Maui called Kahakuloa. It's a treacherous windy road to travel north of the island but it's well worth it. It feels like it was frozen in time. So picturesque!
Las Vegas - Sin City; the entertainment capital of the world! Whether you love the old charm of Downtown; or the glitz and glamour of the Strip.. there is always something to do from gambling, casino, rides, shows, concerts, shopping and cocktails!
The City by the Bay is one of coolest destinations to visit - San Francisco! Not only is it the best place to find some of most delicious seafood down by the Pier but the city's rich history and sites make it a must see to experience first hand. One of my favorite places to visit is the Castro District
One of my favorite places in the world is the International Rose Garden in Portland. Huge acres sprawling across the hillside with rows and sections of pure and hybrid roses of every type. So beautiful!!
